Welcome to Mount Pleasant Tennis Club

Mount Pleasant Tennis Club is located in Rotary Park, with a beautiful view of downtown Calgary from the top of the Bow River escarpment. Situated on a hill just north-east of the Centre Street Bridge, surrounded by city parkland and overlooking downtown … the club has few rivals.

The club has five hard surface courts. Three have lights for night play. All courts are nestled in tall hedges to shelter against the wind. Green backdrops line the chain link fence to give good ball visibility.

One of the great attractions of the tennis club is the clubhouse, with a back deck overlooking the Bow River, the Rocky Mountains and downtown Calgary.

Our members are of all ages and we enjoy combining tennis with a relaxed and sociable club atmosphere. The club offers a wide range of activities, including tennis lessons, tournaments and box leagues. Social events, like our annual Wimbledon Tea and Friday Night Lights are a big part of club operation and are not to be missed!

MPTC prides itself on its strong tradition of volunteerism, which encourages participation and keeps membership fees low. Club management is undertaken by a volunteer executive committee.

The official season runs from late April to the end of September but you will find people playing for as long as the weather is good.

Join us! New members are always welcome!
