TENNIS DAY IN CANADA – 150 Minutes of Tennis

Our Tennis Day In Canada Open House, 150 Minutes of Tennis,  will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 2 to 4:30 PM.  This is a first ever Canada-wide event in celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation.

Mount Pleasant Tennis Club is excited to be one of the 150 tennis clubs across Canada registered to take part in this event under the auspices  of Tennis Alberta, Tennis Canada, and the Tennis Professionals Association.

This nation-wide event hopes to increase participation among new and returning players and create new interest in tennis by providing players of all levels and experience a chance to participate in free tennis activities.

Jerry Thompson, MPTC Vice-President, has been very busy organizing this event and has lots of our wonderful volunteers lined up to help out.

Also Michaela Sherven, our new Pro, and Sivinee, our Club Manager, will be on hand to co-ordinate fun tennis games and tips for all ages and abilities.

We will also be enjoying a Canada’s 150th Birthday Cake.

All members and guests are invited to come and participate in this event, however tennis court use might be limited.

Come and celebrate 150 Minutes of Free Tennis!
